HBM Rolls Out MX1601 Configured with Many Sensors

HBM has come up with MX-1601 amplifier to boost the flexibility of their data acquisition system, QuantumX. This is a 16-channel amplifier, which is capable of working together with many different sensors. Current-fed, piezoelectric transducers (IEPE/ICP) can be connected to this amplifier easily.

The highlight of MX1601 modules is that it can be easily configured with many sensors. All the physical quantities that are measured through standardized voltages and currents can be acquired through this amplifier. The module enables automatic identification and configuration of sensors that are connected as it is compliant with the Transducer Electronic Data Sheet (TEDS). Push-in technology makes life easy as far as connecting the sensors is concerned.

The new amplifier integrates with the HBM QuantumX system without any hassle. The QuantumX along with other software packages that HBM offers provides a system that adapts to test environments as well as laboratory applications.

Ever since HBM came into existence in 1950, it has grown steadily to become the leader in the field of test and measurement. HBM boasts of a vast product range that covers the entire measurement chain from virtual to physical testing. They provide perfectly matched components like high speed data acquisition systems, analysis software, weighing components, force and pressure measurements, which are designed to meet specific testing needs.
