Mantracourt, manufacturer of wireless sensors, load cell indicators, load cell amplifiers and other industrial measurement technologies, has announced the success and efficiency of using its portable strain gauge display (PSD) as a load cell indicator or strain gauge indicator.
The PSD strain gauge indicator is small in size and weighs 250 g. It has an automatic sensor calibration and is housed in a waterproof enclosure. With a long battery life, the indicator is also offered as a sister model for RS232 output. The PSD indicator is designed for use in harsh environments and can be used in a wide range of applications where pressure, weight, load or force measurements need to be precisely recorded.
The PSD indicator can be used to supervise the loads on guide wires that are utilized to maintain the radio mast’s stability. PSD load cell displays that are TEDS enabled can be connected to TEDS shackles via a 5 pin Binder socket. The PSD can read the load using peak/valley hold function. Connections can be made to RS232 using the PSD232 model to enable users to interface with a datalogger or computer.
