Mantracourt Launches DSCUSB for Strain Gauge Bridge Based Sensor

Mantracourt, a company specializing in industrial measurement technology, has added the Strain Gauge to USB Converter (DSCUSB) to its range of high-precision electronic equipment. The high-performance digital signal conditioner can be accommodated within a limited space and comes with a built-in USB connectivity.

The DSCUSB is equipped with a shunt calibration resistor. Users can choose the resolution in the order of one part in 66,000 and can tune it to withstand up to 500 points per second. The DSCUSB allows measurements to be recorded with peak-and-trough values. The electronic device is capable of changing a strain gauge sensor input into a digital USB serial output.

Mantracourt’s Marketing Co-ordinator, Kelly Voysey stated that the DSCUSB is usually employed in strain-gauge sensors such as pressure & displacement, torque, force, load, weight, and strain. Voysey further added that the DSCUSB offers a simple approach for taking measurements in laboratories, research and development, and test & measurement. The DSCUSB is useful for applications requiring precise analysis, monitoring, and collection of critical data.
