Carmanah Technologies has entered into a deal with the U S federal government agency for the sale of EverGEN 1710 Solar Lights. The parking lot at the federal government agency became the first to get illuminated by solar lights.
The technology used was advanced occupancy sensing (AOS) that was devised by Carmanah, which works by activating a series of lights when any one light senses movement. The EverGEN 1700 solar LED lights are capable of providing synchronised activation due to the combination of wireless mesh networking, GPS and AOS. AOS increases the lighting efficiency of the total system thereby significantly reduces the number of lights required to illuminate a project.
The CEO of Carmanah technologies, Ted Lattimore spoke about the advantages that businesses get out of the EverGEN 1710. He stressed on the usage of AOS that helps in reducing the total number of lights required. This reduction in number brings down the over all cost of materials and installation. St. Louis Lighting, who is the lighting agent for Carmanah, was instrumental in recommending EverGEN for this project. Carmanah has established a worldwide reputation in providing efficient and robust systems for industrial applications. The solar LED lights from Carmanah are capable of giving durable and reliable performances that are cost- effective as well.
