NavStar Technologies’ Vehicle Tracking Device Includes Motion Sensor

NavStar Technologies has declared that it has added new functionalities and features to its range of tracking, monitoring and reporting solutions, which are exclusively developed to track the condition and location of vehicles and other valuable assets.

The new vehicle tracking device is the smallest in the market and it measures 3.5" x 2.25" x .75". It has a built-in memory of 2MB and around 20,000 records can be stored in the device. The backup battery will reach maximum efficiency when linked with the on-board motion sensor resulting in optimal power consumption.

The tracking device features distinct input/output ports for tracing various parameters like braking, idle time and speed. It has 200 geo fences with the Quad band GSM/GPRS wireless connection. Other features include TCP/IP, UDP/IP internet protocol, 20 Channel GPS receiver and modifiable reports and messages.

‘NavStar Technologies’ Chairman and CEO, N. Douglas Pritt, stated that they have utilized their experience in maintaining 20,000 units in service and have manufactured the latest tracing and monitoring device available in the GPS/Wireless asset tracking segment. He mentioned that their solutions are backed with a total focus to quality and excellent client service. He added that their web-based software can develop a typical package of reports or can be even tailored to address the distinct requirements of their clients.

Vehicle tracking device has successfully completed field tests and production will commence this summer.
