Zilog Launches ZMOTION Intrusion Detection System for Motion Sensing Activities

Zilog, a subsidiary company of IXYS and a reliable supplier of embedded microcontroller (MCU) system on chip (SOC) solutions for power management, industrial and consumer applications, has launched its new intrusion motion sensing system.

This solution is based on high performance oriented ZMOTION MCUs, which include motion detection algorithms along with advanced features for applications pertaining to intrusion detection.

Zilog now provides three uniquely designed intrusion solutions, which are a combined along with pyroelectric sensors and specific types of lenses to suit a range of applications, where security is paramount.

The whole world is on the way to adopt improved intrusion detection and more so in the security related motion sensing applications. The ZMOTION intrusion detection system, with its integrated features such as the Pet Immunity and the White Light Detection, is the perfect solution for security applications that require extremely stable intrusion detection capacity.

According to Dr. Nathan Zommer, IXYS’ CEO, both IXYS and its divisions have been in the security field for several decades with its Solid State Relays, power semiconductors and ICs. Zilog products would expand the company’s portfolio of intelligent motion sensing systems and give customers a complete package from power output load control to detection.
