iWorx, a company specializing in sophisticated physiology research solutions, has launched the IX-100B Data Acquisition System, which offers low noise/high resolution recording of biopotential signals such as EMG, ECG and EEG in animal cardiovascular study.
The system is perfect for dedicated applications, which need only a single biopotential recording channel because of its low voltage stimulator and an isolated input channel.
The iWorx 100B makes use of a 16-bit A/D converter for sampling data over a full input range of ±1V with speeds of up to 200 kHz. A wide selection of high and low pass gains and filters along with safe human connection are offered by the recorder. It uses a software programmable 16 bit, +/-5V stimulator. The stimulator’s parameters such as frequency, pulse width and amplitude could be changed easily. Standard protocols such as Train, Pulse and step could be customized. The stimulator could also be used for pacing in isolated heart applications.
The LabScribe2 software, which is a highly powerful analysis and recording software package, controls the iWorx 100B recorder. The software has a user-friendly and perceptive interface for analyzing data, calibrating signals and setting up acquisition screens. About 128 channels of data could be displayed concurrently at very high sampling rates of 200,000/s.
A complete set of analytical routines have been configured, which make data analysis and interpretation easy and quick. Special software are offered for analyzing blood flow data, pressure signals, sonomicrometry dimension data, ventricular pressure-volume loops and ECG recordings.
