Reality Mobile, a provider of real-time, enterprise-class mobile video collaboration solutions, has released the beta version of its RealityVision Sensor Gateway.
The Sensor Gateway is designed to send output from sensors and associated visual information to the company’s users. The video data provides real-time information, allowing users to view their valuable assets and share the data with other users around the globe. The data is delivered securely that can be leveraged immediately by enterprise users. The data from the gateway is available for analysis and redistribution, and is also archived for later forensic analysis.
Government agencies and enterprise organizations depend on sensors for managing their processes and operations such as SCADA systems, industrial controls, and security and intrusion detection systems. When a trigger is activated, the RealityVision gateway communicates the event data from sensors to the mobile devices of RealityVision users. The sensor data could include leak detection, radiation level, humidity or temperature information. Video data from IP cameras monitoring such events could also be sent by the gateway.
RealityVision's Screencasting capability would allow enterprise control center operators and remote users to visualize the sensor data simultaneously on a PC screen. The RealityVision gateway can be customized to allow data from selected sensors to be available to certain employees. Users would be able to decide which data they would like to receive from specific sensors in a multi-sensor scenario.
