METTLER TOLEDO is offering a new iRO (Intelligent remote operation) temporary data logger that provides a unique solution by giving comprehensive data.
Temporary data logging is necessary for many applications for quality assurance, process optimization or troubleshooting purposes i.e. mostly where there is limited access. The new data logger can be easily installed mainly because of a novel technology for analytical measurement systems. It would observe and note real-time measurements from in-line process analytical sensors. The unit is totally compatible with METTLER’s entire range of Intelligent Sensor ManagementISM) digital sensors and can measure the pH, conductivity and oxygen level for two sensors at a time.
iRO’s feature set is centralized on the ISM technology, which gives speedy sensor commissioning, highly reliable measurements along with data on the condition of the sensor and thus give users reassurance about the process reliability. Moreover, the ISM’s low energy needs help the rechargeable battery to provide power for the unit for a period of two months. Its Bluetooth communication facilitates remote operation for data readout and configuration. The unit being battery powered needs no wiring for data acquisition or power supply.
The iRO units are used chiefly when access to the measuring point is either limited or difficult. Nevertheless, the unit could also be used in optimization of manufacturing processes and process development to find the most apt installation points for analytical equipment and also to take in-line measurements of oxygen concentration, pH, conductivity and other analytical parameters.
