Zentrum Mikroelektronik Dresden (ZMDI, a leading provider of analog and mixed signal systems for industrial, automotive and medical applications, has now launched the new ZSSC3008 sensor signal conditioning IC. This sensor is used in resistive bridge sensor systems that need second order linearity corrections.
ZMDI ZSSC3008 sensor IC
The ZSSC3008 sensing solution is used in applications containing sensors such as thin-film pressure sensors, ceramic pressure sensors, passively compensated and oil-filled stainless steel sensors that do not need temperature compensation as they already have a very low temperature coefficient (TC).
A specific sensor and the calibrated ZSSC3008 are combined together rapidly and accurately without involving any of the expenses normally related to trimming by laser or any external devices. The sensor is encased in a SOP8 pack in volumes of 1000 units.
ZMDI is a semi-conductor company established in 1961 in Dresden, which is also called the cradle of semi-conductor technology in Germany, and became an international company in the year 2004. It has 280 employees with 6 offices in Europe, 2 in Asia, 3 in USA and is headquartered in Dresden.
