Flexpoint Sensor Systems Gets 'Go Ahead' for Product for US Militaryý

Flexpoint Sensor Systems, Inc. has received a development order and funding for completion of a customized product for the US Military. The order came on the basis of the earlier development of prototypes that were successfully tested by the organization. The military has now received approval and funds for advanced development of the said product.

The President of Flexpoint, Clark Mower said that they were excited to be associated with the military in the development of another product featuring sensors utilizing their patented Bend Sensor^® technology. He anticipated that successful development and testing of this application will open the door for development and acceptance of additional military products in the future.

The product is said to have wide application and would be used by all branches of the military. The company has begun work on the order and the project has been fast tracked to make the product available for the troops by 2012.

Mr Mower added that while they were pleased to receive funding for this product, it was just one of the many innovative products that the Company was currently working on. They understood that shareholders would like more specifics on the exact nature of the products, timelines and total revenues the company will receive. As the products reach full rollout in the coming quarters they would be able to discuss them in more detail.
