Compac’s Novel Series 11 Temperature Switches for OEM Applications

Compac Engineering a manufacturer of flow, temperature and liquid level sensors has introduced the new Series 11 group of temperature switches, a new product group. These switches are slow response and low cost sensor switches, which would prove to be of great use for OEM applications, especially where it is necessary to detect high or cold temperature limits.

A range of temperatures could be sensed by these sensor switches from freezing point to 90°C with the help of 16 differential trip points, which have been preset. They do not include a built-in differential and thus these switches are creep mechanisms with a capacity of rapid cycling and slow make/slow break features, making them perfect for both control and limit applications.

These switches are bi-metallic and are enclosed in a plastic sheath which resists corrosion. They include a 1/8 NPT threat for mounting, a sensing section and a hex section. They are compatible with a number of Compac ERECTA SWITCH components, and hence can fulfill most mounting requirements. Cost effective thermostats packed for usage in either liquid or gas are included in the series 11 group of temperature switches. Low cost solutions are provided for solving complicated control issues when these switches are combined with flow sensors, wiring receptacles, relay housings, and other level switches and sensors from Compac.

Every switch is completely tested by Compac to ensure that they would provide superior quality and performance. Both normally closed (type C) and normally open (type CR) versions of the switches are being offered.
