Southern California-based GPS car tracking company, LiveViewGPS has compiled and released a list of important items stolen from home building sites and homes.
A representative of LiveViewGPS, Mike Miracle stated that items such as refrigerators, dishwashers and ovens may not be easy to steal, but are often accessible as they are left unprotected when the builders are not at the site.
The company asserts that the mobile alarm GPS locator is the ideal solution to monitor mobile assets including appliances and ensures round-the-clock asset management and jobsite security. GPS technology can be used to locate the precise location of computers, televisions, motorcycles, jet skis, boats, toy trailers and other appliances. The mobile tracking systems notifies up to three members through email or messaging system when tampering occurs. In an event when the mobile alarm is disarmed, a notification is sent out if any item is removed from its original place.
The tracking equipment’s vibration sensor detects vibrations and motions of heavy equipment or metal containers and features a filter designed to block false alarms caused by thunder claps or accidental bumps. An additional feature of the GPS locator is that it notifies the user if the monitored asset enters a preset low or high temperature, thus allowing users to keep a track of the conditions of their storage areas.
