Fluke Calibration, a provider of precision calibration instrumentation products and software for measurement of pressure, temperature, electrical, RF and flow, has released an updated version of its pressure calibration management software - COMPASS for Pressure version 4.0.
The latest version enhances the automation of testing and calibration processes. The off-the-shelf tool provides a universal platform for the requirements of pressure calibration software. The software avoids usage of internal engineering resources and allows calibration professionals to advance to a completely automated calibration system from the separate automated hardware parts. The software allows transfer of standards for characterization of racks of sensors during production and for calibration of individual devices from piston gauges.
The Version 4.0 software improves the interface with the MET/CAL Plus Calibration Management System and allows users to directly export the data derived from the tests to the system. The enhanced interface improves the transparency of the migration process and enables easy usage of the customized fields. The software will aid users to better manage their maintenance, calibration locations, inventory and customers.
The latest version allows users of WinPrompt software to upgrade without difficulty to the COMPASS platform with full-functionality. For Ruska references, the software has added an auto-detect support and integrated support of piston gauge monitors and auto-float controllers. When a Fluke controller reference is used, the new version allows fully automated adjustment and calibration of Fluke 700 pressure modules.
Fluke’s COMPASS for Pressure version 4.0 offers a seat-based licensing structure that enables users to acquire additional seats when required.
