iTrack365 has announced the availability of a GPS-based vehicle tracking system developed to monitor teen drivers, the iTeen365.
The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has reported that every year more than 6,000 teenagers die in fatal road accidents while driving. In the United States, the leading cause of teen deaths is attributed to motor vehicle crashes. The iTeen365 has been designed to help teenage drivers develop responsible and safe driving habits. The driving habits can be remotely monitored by the parents from the phone, office or home.
Available in the size of an average smartphone, the iTeen365 can be easily installed under the vehicles dashboard. The car’s information can then be accessed in real-time by the parents who can also set up email and alert notifications.
Unlike other sensor systems which have complicated installation processes, the iTeen365 device is directly sent to a certified installation technician. The installation of the device is included in the cost, making it an easy and error-free process for the consumer.
The features of the tracking device include availability of detail driving reports of up to four months, presentation of the vehicle location in an online map integrated with Google Maps, records of every speeding infringement documented in various speed zones, Geo Fencing facility which lists unapproved driving locations and movement alarms which alert the parents of unapproved vehicle movements.
An official statement illustrates that the website will also provide tips for safe driving, information on license processing for teenagers, insurance savings and other relevant guidelines that can help reduce teen fatalities.
