A measurement equipment and instruments manufacturer, Agilent Technologies has developed solutions for generation and analysis of wide bandwidth signals, the Signal Studio software for signal creation and the PXA signal analyzer featuring a 160 MHz bandwidth analysis option.
The Vice President of Agilent Technologies, Guy Séné stated that the high performance analyzer with 160 MHz bandwidth meets the market demand for products enabling signal analysis of wider bandwidths. Séné explained that the 802.11ac WLAN standard technology presents manufacturers and device developers with design and test challenges which have been addressed in the solution developed by the company for the 802.11ac signal creation. Séné concluded by stating that the signal generation software and PXA analyzer provides performance and features that allows engineers to rapidly troubleshoot or verify the advanced WLAN devices.
Since signal analysis of wider bandwidths of up to 160 MHz is required to cover the bandwidths sustained by the 802.11ac WLAN standard, the 160 MHz bandwidth analysis enabled by the signal analyzer addresses this need. Speedy verification, improved design and instant troubleshooting of existing and future 802.11ac devices is enabled by the advanced performance of the PXA signal analyzer. When coupled with the 802.11ac modulation analysis offered by the 89600 VSA software, the analyzer allows for detailed and high-performance analysis of 802.11ac signals.
The Signal Studio software, the wider bandwidth option of PXA and various other products aiding wireless communication will be demonstrated by Agilent from 11-13 October, 2011 at the European Microwave Week held in Manchester Central, England.
