A security screening equipment manufacturer, CEIA USA has announced the release of the PMD2 Plus, the next generation of PMD2 family of advanced walk-through metal detectors.

Fully compliant with security standards for use as a weapon detector, the PMD2 Plus includes new features such as the Met-Identity technology for detection of dangerous metals, while retaining the ease of use and high reliability of the PMD2 range. The first metal detector to feature Met-Identity technology, the PMD2 Plus is capable of accurately identifying the metal’s type, amount as well as its location in the secured area.
The Director of Sales of CEIA USA, Mark Meyer stated that advanced security solutions are required to counter the growing security threats. The PMD2 Plus combines customer oriented long-term values with business level professional performance. An option for web-server and logger integration allows for remote detection, control and information reporting on the detector network. Security threat levels can be adjusted for various checkpoints.
An important feature of the PMD2 Plus is simultaneous detection in 60 precision zones visible from outbound and inbound detectors. The PMD2 Plus solution is available in a traditional panel or Elliptic column style. Featuring more than 40 inbuilt security programs, 20 customizable levels and compliant with 22 international standards, it is an ideal solution for use in public events, corporations, government buildings and schools.
