Vaisala has unveiled a new transmitter to monitor the pressure and dew point in compressed air applications.
The company’s DPT146, a pressure and dew point transmitter, is the market’s first transmitter that measures both pressure and dew point in the compressed air concurrently. This has become a perfect device for monitoring high quality compressed air.
The pressure has been compensated in real-time and online continuously by the dew point information, which indicates that no individual changes are necessary to alter the pressure. It has denoted that uncertainty was not present in the data, which creates the exact and dependable information and as a result, it has allowed more informative decision making and well-timed corrections. Additionally, regulative needs can be easily and rapidly accomplished. This single transmitter has simultaneously offered two primary measurements for compressed air applications. Decrease in installation expenses, easy set up and maintenance are an added advantage.
Vaisala’s contribution has been harmonized by the DPT146 transmitter for monitoring compressed air. Two sensor technologies, the Vaisala BAROCAP and Vaisala DRYCAP, have been incorporated in this new sensor transmitter. For over 20 years, these two technologies have been verified to be precise and constant in measuring various pressure and dew point conditions.
