German company Viimagic will be launching its HDTV sensor series of 922x at the Vision 2011 exhibition to be held in Stuttgart from 8 to 11 November, 2011.
The innovative, 2MP sensors maintain 1080p HD at low light levels at 240 fps frame rates. The incorporation of the digital double sampling feature ensures that frame rates of 120 fps can be attained. It can be operated at a high dynamic range above 120 dB.
The 922x series of sensors can accommodate a maximum of 16 LVDS output channels and has a maximum data rate of up to 1.2 Gbit/sec for each channel. The CMOS sensors use an SPI interface to program a high speed control unit that has been integrated into the devices. This feature enables original equipment manufacturers to be flexible and integrate systems in a much lesser time. This also leads to lesser costs of auxiliary components and makes it easier to implement. Apart from the sensors Viigmagic will also exhibit its slow motion colour sensors at the Vision 2011 exhibition.
Viimagic specialises in developing and distributing highly sensitive image sensors that are used for monitoring traffic, cameras with high resolutions, security, industrial, medical applications and broadcast studios. The company takes care of all the stages of productions starting from design and development to the sale of its sensor products and also customise its products specifically for integration into systems.
