Grant Instruments Partners with CAS to Launch Portable Wi-Fi Input Data Logger

Grant Instruments has joined hands with CAS to market a new data logger, Grant Squirrel SQ2020 WiFi Portable Universal Input Data Logger. The instrument is an ideal portable solution for data logging applications that require precision and need to measure different kinds of input parameters.

Grant Squirrel SQ2020

The data logger accommodates 8 to 16 analog inputs and is capable of logging data at a speed of 100 Hz. The data logger consists of 24-bit analog to digital convertor, detachable memory and Wi-Fi wireless Ethernet networking. The instrument is best suited for scientific, industrial and quality assurance applications.

When coupled with the SquirrelView comprehensive software, the data logger facilitates data acquisition, real-time metering, data analysis and simple Wi-Fi networking. They accept universal input and come in an easy to handle physical form. The logger accepts inputs from thermistors and thermocouples as well as inputs in the form of resistance, current and voltage. Apart from these inputs the data logger provides two high voltage outputs, four pulse/rate counter inputs and eight digital event/state inputs. When used in industrial environments, four alarm outputs set off the triggers that notify operators whenever measured data goes beyond the specified values. Sensor power and FET outputs that can be used by external devices are provided by the logger. SQ2020 can be configured with an integrated keypad and for the display; a 128 X 97 dot graphical LCD display is used with a simple user interface consisting of four buttons. The memory of the data logger can accommodate up to 14 million readings. These loggers are powered by batteries, are portable and are compatible with Wi-Fi Ethernet, RS232 and USB connectivity.
