AGT International, a global provider of safety and security solutions, is set to present transformational urban management solutions to a group of mayors belonging to the National Academy of Mayors of China (NAMC).
The company will be guiding the mayors through a tour of important places and also provide lectures on the newest water and urban management solutions such as flood sensors and transformational mobile sensor technology. The NAMC mayors will also be meeting with Dutch government officials.
AGT International’s Founder & CEO, Mati Kochavi, stated that the company’s solutions will help foresee, prepare, avoid and manage challenges faced by cities due to expansion and growing populations. The Distributed Environmental Sensing solution uses mobile phones as mobile sensors for assisting urban management, he added. The solution consists of a sensor that can sample airborne particles and gasses. The self-powered sensor is connected wirelessly to a mobile phone, which integrates and sends the data to a central server for advanced visualization and processing. The solution can provide continuous data about the quality of air across the country. AGT International's Urban Management solutions generate a Unified Situation Awareness Picture from data derived from stationary and mobile sensors, urban databases and social networks and provide status visualizations and forecasting capabilities.
AGT International’s Integrated Water Asset Management platform provides real-time and accurate status of the monitored water assets. It then suggests recommendations and allows simulation of flooding and riverbed breaches. The company and the Ministry of Water Resources in China have entered an MOU to develop superior flood management solutions for protecting China's reservoirs and river embankments utilizing AGT International's Smart Dike technology.
