A division of Siemens Building Technologies has launched new modern, ergonomically designed RAA and RAB room thermostats. The thermostats are highly energy-efficient and ensure an enhanced switching accuracy.
The RAA series room thermostats include an on/off switch and a large knob to set the required room temperature. The RAB line thermostat, used in two-pipe fan coil units, is equipped with a manual switch to control a three-speed fan, an ergonomic setting knob and a selector to set the operating mode. The RAA and RAB thermostats can find its application in standard cooling and heating plants and can be used along with thermal and zone values plus fans.
The large setting knobs are provided with the thermostats to ensure accurate switching operations in temperature setting, which increases the energy efficiency of cooling or heating fields. With the optimized design, the less space housings can be accommodated with the company’s RAA and RAB room thermostats.
The company’s RAA and RAB thermostats in spite of irregular surface construction can be used in both non-residential and residential buildings as well as in small industrial buildings. The RAA and RAB profiles of room thermostats are a division of the company’s environmental group. The total income from the environmental portfolio is about 28 billion euros in the year 2010, which promotes the company as the world’s largest eco-friendly technology supplier. The company’s technologies and products makes the customers to minimize the emission of carbon dioxide annually by 270 million tons which equals to the CO2 exhaust of the major cities London, New York, Hong Kong, Tokyo, Singapore and Delhi.
