Fluke Calibration, a manufacturer of precision calibration software and instruments, has introduced a PG9602 Piston Gauge, which is designed to meet the reference standards for the pressure measurements at leading pressure laboratories.
The company has developed the PG9602 piston gauge by considering the needs of National Measurement Institutes and researchers. The difficulty in determining pressure can be reduced with the newly designed piston gauge, which improves the operating condition measurement. A mass load of 100 kg offers a broad range specified by each piston-cylinder assembly, which improves piston-cylinder overlap for inter-comparison.
The automated mass handling (AMH) technology of Fluke Calibration enables testing to be performed without any manual monitoring, enhances long-term mass stability and enables a high reference vacuum. The new PG9602 absolute pressure piston-gauge can realize and disseminate pressure values of about 10 Mpa with minimal uncertainties, when it is combined with the Fluke Calibration’s 50 mm PG9607 piston gauge. The PG9602 and PG9607 piston gauges are combined such that dimensional measurements are directly traceable.
Fluke Calibration also provides COMPASS calibration management software, which supports a completely automatic testing system. The COMPASS management software also supports few cross-float setups without the requirement of user-defined programming. The PG9000 automation and COMPASS software ensures wide range of studies on pressure measurement and allows thorough characterization of pressure systems.
