Flexpoint Sensor Systems has announced that the company has obtained several follow-up orders for sensors, which are integrated in toys. Flexpoint Sensor Systems will manufacture the sensors and plans to deliver the manufactured sensors before the year end.
The recently received orders are from the company’s existing customer, with which Flexpoint has been having an association for many years now. Usually, the company will receive orders on quarterly basis. The present annual sensor production volumes are less, which are approximately 40,000-50,000 sensors. In the past years, the company had sold over 7 million sensors into the market through Toys R Us along with other toy companies and industries.
Clark Mower, Flexpoint Sensor Systems’ President, said that the company has extensive expertise in providing high-quality sensors to the toy companies, e.g. Toys R Us. Mower added that in the past years, the company has manufactured and supplied over 7 million sensors, which are used in a range of toys. Mower said that the company anticipates to make this industry as one of the major factors for its annual revenue growth exceeding $250,000 and finds ways to obtain an improved share in the market. Mower went on to say that now, the company is manufacturing prototypes of various sensors for supplying to major companies in the industry. Mower stated that the company has entered into a marketing contract with Mobicon, which provides it with the contact details of gaming and toy manufacturers in China.
