iMetrik M2M Solutions, a manufacturer of wireless sensor, has been developing a wireless cellular gateway machine-to-machine (M2M) technology for end-to-end communication and is receiving orders in advance for the system that will enable monitoring and controlling of the assets and environments from any place.
The system’ seamless package includes a cellular gateway, wireless sensor, global data network and a web application, and can be applied in plug-and-play machine-to-machine application.
The wireless sensor integrated in the M2M cellular gateway unit can be of any type that can sense the humidity and water levels, electric current, light, temperature, motion, CO2, fault alerts and tracking of assets and environments. The monitored information is updated to the end user via the internet using a smart phone or computer integrated with the company’s M2M wireless cellular gateway technology.
The time required for installing the cellular gateway and wireless sensor with a battery is very less compared to that of using a wired technology solution. The iMetrik M2M system is shipped to the users in pre-activated status, which ensures users not to spend their time in elimination of the local cellular network operators.
The Chief Executive Officer of iMetrik M2M solutions, Michel St-Pierre stated that the company’s partner offers less expense wireless sensors that can be applied in a wide range of applications offered by them.
