CriticareSystems, a manufacturer of patient monitoring systems and accessories, headquartered in Waukesha, WI, has announced that it has won a contract to provide nGenuityVital Signs Monitors to several major hospitals located in Tyumen Oblast, the third largest province in Russia. The monitor purchase is a part of a program to upgrade to the latest hospital equipment.
The agreement developed by Elmedica, the Russian distributor of Criticare’s products highlights that Criticare will install the nGenuity patient monitors in four hospitals. The necessary training to use the patient monitors will also be provided by Criticare. The hospitals are located in Tyumen, Yalutorovsk and Zavodoukovsk.
The nGenuity patient monitors are designed for use with both adult and pediatric patients. Its large 10.4 in. TFT color display can be seen from across the room while the audio and visual alarm system can be set up based on the environment and condition of the patient. The standard features of the patient monitor include a 3/5 lead ECG, non-invasive blood pressure measurement, heart rate, SpO2, respiration, temperature and nurse call interface.
Compatible with majority of the EMR systems, nGenuity patient monitors are easy to use and features a user-configurable display so that clinicians can access the required results in a time-efficient manner. Designed to monitor pediatric and adult patients, the nGenuity monitors are available with several configurations including ST, arrhythmia and ETCO2 analysis.
The Chairman of Opto Circuits, VinodRamnani stated that the Tyumen contract is the second recent contract secured through Elmedica to provide monitoring equipment in medical centers located in Russia.
