Michell Instruments, a provider of field measurement solutions of humidity, moisture and oxygen, has announced the unveiling of the MDM25, which is a new portable relative humidity hygrometer.
This device is a handheld, battery-operated meter and is available with many different probe patterns. As this instrument shows temperature and relative humidity value, it is ideal for several testing and inspection applications.
The high stable sensor, based on polymer, present in this MDM25 device has quickly responded to the changes sensed in humidity. The device together with a thermistor measures the optimum temperature. Additional derived parameters from humidity and temperature have included dew point, wet bulb temperature and absolute humidity.
The MDM25 hygrometer is a suitable reference device that is used with humidity generators during the RH probes validation or calibration. RH probes are widely used by pharmaceutical companies, laboratories, and manufacturers of semiconductor. It is found that the internal humidity measuring device is highly inexpensive.
A secondary reference is offered by this MDM25 instrument, which is then used while calibrating together a humidity generator like the company’s S503. The MDM25’s display orientation can be inverted and it can be easily read when the insertion of fixed probe is done into Michell’s S503. The MDM25 can be used comfortably and without any difficulty in several circumstances, along with a broad range of probes that contain fixed, sword, round, and remote.
