Vivint, a North American home automation service company, has revealed the Smart Schedule Activity Patterns, an energy-saving feature that has been added to enhance the feature-rich Vivint Smart Thermostat.
The new feature allows Vivint customers to improve and change their thermostat settings by getting access to data gathered by the system over time. The Smart Schedule feature provides the activity patterns to the user, enabling the user to adjust the thermostat schedule to increase efficiency.
The Vice President – Product Development at Vivint, Jim Nye stated that although the feature-rich Vivint Smart Thermostat helps decrease the use of excess energy, the new Smart Schedule Activity Patterns provide customers with a better insight of energy usage management and provide them with more control. Nye added that customizing the schedule of the thermostat in tune with the daily activities can also be controlled using the dual thermostat support and remote access.
