Neonode, a company offering optical touch technology, has declared that its multi-sensing technology in the children tablet MEEP! has been selected by Oregon Scientific.
The company has also signed a multi-year contractual agreement with IDT Technology, which produces Oregon Scientific products.
The MEEP! tablet contains zForce durable Multi-Sensing technology that supports the interactive content and is suitable for rough use by children. The tablet has a rugged design with an improved silicon sleeve for extra protection. This tablet will be useful for tech-hungry kids.
The tablet is internet-enabled. The downloaded content can be stored in SD card or internal memory and can be seen from all directions through the internal G-Sensor. Android operating system is included in the tablet. It provides e-books, movies, music and apps from major developers. It has a big, 7" color touch screen. The tablet can be used by children of age group 6 and above. Parents can monitor their children’s activity through an online control panel.
The company’s CEO, Thomas Eriksson stated that the company is happy to work with Oregon Scientific. The MEEP! is a novel product for children. Both the companies' innovative ideas are shown in the children tablet and will be a cost-effective yet sustainable and interactive tablet for children.
