Advanced Photonix has announced that it has signed a value-added reseller agreement with Automation and Control Technology for the T-Gauge industrial terahertz gauging system.
The ruggedized T-Gauge measurement system is ideal for deployment on the manufacturing floor for process control and quality assurance applications. It can be easily adapted for use with various sensor configurations and helps manufacturers reduce cost and improve quality.
The President and Chief Executive Officer of Automation and Control Technology (ACT), Charles Totel stated that the advanced terahertz technology will replace x-ray sensor and nucleonic applications. T-Gauge sensors provide high precision measurements and can be used for multiple later products. Totel expressed that the company is looking forward to provide its customers with the new terahertz technology.
The Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of ACT, David Pond stated that the state-of-the-art T-Gauge sensor technology has joined ACT’s wide offering of industrial gauging solutions. Pond added that the company is proud to be the first value-added reseller to integrate and place into production the terahertz sensor in a multi-layer, web-based industrial process application.
The Chief Operating Officer of Advanced Photonix, Rob Risser explained that the expanding VAR partner network and their application development and industry expertise offer manufacturers a rapid solution for improving quality products at lower costs.
Advanced Photonix and Automation and Control Technology are showcasing the latest offerings at 2012 NPE International Plastics Showcase being held from 1 to 5 April in Orlando, Florida.
