Industrial Company Acquires Advanced Safety Monitor from Blackline

Blackline GPS declares that a Fortune 300 worldwide provider of industrial gases has procured Blackline's G2 Loner SMD safety monitoring device for deployment across Canada. Being a second major player in the compressed gases market, the new industrial company customer adopts Blackline's Loner technology as its ideal choice for monitoring the safety of its employees.

As per the law, a wide number of regions in Canada are in demand of organizations that can monitor individual personnel via check-in processes and periodic communication. Despite the compliance of phone or radio-based check-in procedures with legislation, only insignificant practical safety monitoring value can be achieved. Also, this method of monitoring is time-consuming and convoluted.

In addition to meeting the work alone requirements, Blackline's Loner SMD ensures practical safety monitoring capability and can consistently and autonomously monitor the worker's safety. The method where real-time safety monitoring has been adopted provides safety incidents to other personnel, at once. In turn, these personnel will offer effective emergency response.

In-built with True Fall Detection technology, Loner SMD is a person-worn device that sends safety alerts to monitoring personnel while detection of falls. It can precisely differentiate falls from other strong activities such as running down stairs, or jumping off a loading dock. Fall detection can also be intensified by using accelerometers and gyros that can communicate man-down events. Unlike the other similar devices, Loner SMD consists of an intuitive emergency latch that can be instantly set free to give help alert. The worker's GPS location will be mapped by monitoring personnel to provide an efficient, pin-point response, while the workers locate the emergency responders using Loner SMD's multi-tone audible and radiant visual indicators.
