VRmagic has introduced three models of cameras, which are equipped with high-resolution sensors, as part of the move to expand its collection of USB single-sensor cameras.
CMV4000 and CMV2000 are CMOS sensors from CMOSIS. These sensors offer good image quality with varied brightness and high frame rates. Objects that move fast and those that are static are both captured by the sensors because of the global shutter technology. The 1" CMV4000 sensor, the 2/3" CMV2000 sensor and the ICX445 CCD sensor are the three sensors introduced by VRmagic.
The 1" CMV4000 sensor in the VRmFC-42 is capable of recording up to 24 fps and comprises 4.2 megapixels of resolution.
The VRmFC-22 uses the 2/3" CMV2000 sensor that gives out 44 frames every second along with a resolution of 2048 x 1088 pixels.
The ICX445 CCD sensor is 1/3" and built in the VRmC-14. This sensor is capable of shooting up to 22 frames every second with a resolution of 1296 x 966 and has increased light sensitivity that is used during positioning and measurement processes.
All the three sensors are available in color and monochrome. The sensors are assembled using the ultra-precise sensor positioning technique from VRmagic. The sensors are first positioned and leveled on the board with high precision and this is followed by the soldering process.
