Based on the proprietary technology analogous to that of Rain Bird’s weather sensing smart irrigation controllers, Rain Bird’s SST Smart Irrigation Controller optimizes zone-by-zone watering schedules according to specific watering needs within individual landscape, followed by automatic adjustment in watering with respect to the varying weather conditions, which led to achieving utmost water efficiency.

The weather-sensing SST Smart Controller has been designed to ensure simple installation and operation efficiency to its users. This innovation also offers a new package of water-efficiency features that promote maximum versatility, usability, and efficient watering over extreme environmental conditions.

Water saving self-adjusting weather sensing technology uses a smart controller for monitoring the temperature and rainfall and accordingly adjusts the watering schedules. Based on an integrated database of weather information, the controller ensures excellent optimization of watering.

The SST Smart Controller allows users to program each landscape zone according to the varied needs of plants.

In each watering zone, the time, duration and frequency can be resolved using SST Smart Controllers’ companion CD. Step-by-step instructions and program settings are available in English. The integrated troubleshooting within display screen, the incorporated intuitive buttons and labeled dial settings enable the user to program the settings.

The SST Smart Controller has been designed to be resistant to adverse weather conditions. The controller’s superior surge protection ensures security against power outages or nearby lightning strikes. All settings have been saved within the controller’s memory to avoid re-programming. This versatile controller does not need any backup batteries.

The WaterSense Certified SST Smart Controller with weather sensor can be ideally deployed with an automatic irrigation system. The 6-valve and 12-valve models are available in affordable prices.
