Measurement Computing Offers New Wireless DAQ

Measurement Computing recently reported the launch of the WiFi-502, a versatile temperature and humidity data logging sensor.

The WiFi-502 can precisely measure the temperature and humidity of specific environment. Measurement is carried by wireless transmission of data to a PC using a WiFi network. The built-in software enables data to be viewed on a PC. The WiFi-502 also has a built-in display for real time viewing of data.

The WiFi-502 consists of an onboard memory and a rechargeable battery. During network disconnection, the onboard memory will log readings until further interaction with the PC application.

Using the incorporated software, data logging, set-up, and data review can be achieved. Set-up features are degrees C/ degrees F, high/low alarms, sensor name, and sample rate. Upon configuration, the graphing tool provides a clear view of logged data that can be exported into Excel.

The WiFi-502 features incorporated data display, configurable high/low alarms, measuring temperature and humidity while transferring data to a PC using WiFi, ability to log over 500,000 samples, measurement range extending from -200C to +600C. It includes a rechargeable internal battery and is 802.11bcompliant. Data recording is achieved by sensor memory. The included software ensures set-up, logging, and data review.
