Monnit and Numerex to Promote M2M Wireless Sensing Solutions

Monnit, an innovator of wireless sensing technology, has declared its agreement with Numerex, a supplier of on-demand and interactive machine-to-machine (M2M) enterprise solutions.

This partnership will allow Numerex to take advantage of Monnit’s wireless gateway application by incorporating it within its existing M2M gateways. Based on Monnit’s extensive line of affordable wireless sensors, Numerex can expand the operational potential of its customer solutions.

According to the CEO of Monnit, Brad Walters, the company is honored with this partnership as Numerex has been a long-term expert in the M2M market. Numerex’s M2M platform and Monnit’s wireless sensors can integrate to better meet the increasing demand for affordable and highly reliable wireless sensing of valuable assets and major processes for business.

At present, Monnit offers more than 30 varied types of wireless sensors that can detect and investigate various functions such as temperature, movement, water, humidity, light, distress, and motion that are vital to business.

Numerex expedites the overall M2M solution process, from conceptualization to commercialization, by capitalizing on rapidly configurable platforms, comprehensive integration expertise, and deep device knowledge. Numerex has robust M2M network and application platforms, and extends its capabilities in more than 50 vertical markets.

According to CTO at Numerex, Jeff Smith, following partnership with Monnit, the company will witness an extensive supply of advanced M2M solutions for enterprises within a range of industry verticals. The company’s expertise in M2M platforms and applications, when combined with Monnit’s range of affordable, low power wireless sensors, will ensure greater return on investment for businesses by promoting efficient business operations through its secure, reliable solutions.
