Fluke has unveiled the Fluke 437 Series II 400 Hz Power Quality and Energy Analyzer that has been designed with advanced power quality functions, packed within a compact, convenient and rugged tool.
This new offering from Fluke will specifically benefit the technical experts within the avionics and defense industries. Additionally, it can also be deployed within military ship, submarine, aircraft, and other transport applications wherein 400 Hz measurements are considered to be critical.
The Fluke 437 is the newest model in the Fluke 430 Series II Three Phase Power Analyzers, the patented algorithm, Unified Power Management-based (first) tools for measuring and enumerating energy losses resulting from harmonics and unbalance issues. These analyzers facilitate the identification of the source of energy waste in a system.
PowerWave is featured within the 435 and 437 models. It is a rapid capture system that provides detailed display of half cycle RMS voltage, waveforms and current values, allowing better interactions while switching operations for eliminating motor/drive/load mismatches.
Both models have achieved full compliance with IEC 61000-4-30 Class-A. Each model is capable of tracking systems with approximately ten power quality parameters on a single screen. It can also record up to 150 parameters, concurrently on four phases based on the EN50160 standard. Additionally, the models are safety rated 600 V CAT IV/1000 V CAT III.
The Fluke 437 model is immediately available and features Li-ion battery pack, new thin flex current probes, USB cable, test leads with clips, color localization set, battery charger, and PowerLog software, packed within a rugged carrying case provided with rollers.
