Bestech Australia Offers TML TC-32K Digital Strainmeter

Bestech Australia presents the TC-32K digital strainmeter, from TML, Japan.TC-32K data logger is an upgraded model which accepts flash memory cards (FAT16, 32MB-2GB). In addition to strain, DC voltage, thermocouple and Pt RTD measurements, it can be used as a digital multimeter for measurement of resistance and insulation resistance.

The liquid crystal display (LCD) backlighted screen shows not only the value measured, but auxiliary information associated with programming of the instrument, like sensor mode and scaling parameter to provide a constant visual reminder of these important settings and allows readings to be taken in the dark if required.

Weighing only 850g, this digital strainmeter fits perfectly in your hand. The splash waterproof case protects the instrument with an IP54 protection rating, and it is shock resistant as well. The design and construction make it ideal for transportation in the field.

Data measured and stored by the digital strainmeter can be transferred to a PC using a flash memory card (FAT16). Maximum 80,000 measured data can easily be processed and analysed by software such as MS-Excel. An interval timer is also available so that you don’t have to be on site to record data. The unit will activate, record a series of readings according to the time sequence programmed and then return to an inactive state.

The input terminals on the upper end of the device feature an innovative finger-touch design (patent) that allow quick and easy connections to leads of different sensors with no screws or solder needed. Alkaline or rechargeable Ni-Cd AA batteries power the unit, and a built-in battery prevents data loss.

The CSW-5A is a five channel automatic switching box using TC-32K interval timer to allow multiple channel inputs. Each channel can be programmed with its own scaling parameter, sensor mode through the keypad of TC-32K. A total 50 channel capacities can be achieved using CSW-5A-05 which provides connector receptacles in addition to the standard screw clips. These switching boxes specially designed for TC-32K can be used for strain gauge, strain gauge type transducer, TEDS compatible load cell, DC voltage, thermocouple and platinum resistance-temperature devices.

USB and RS232C interfaces are available for online measurement and control purposes.

Digital strainmeter TC-32K and associated switching boxes are exclusively available in Australia and New Zealand from Bestech Australia Pty Ltd.
