MultiDimension Technology Co., Ltd. (MDT), to Showcase its Range of Magnetic Sensors at 2013 Sensors Expo

At the 2013 Sensors Expo, MultiDimension Technology Co., Ltd. (MDT), a leading supplier of magnetic sensors specializing in Tunneling Magnetoresistance technology (TMR technology), will showcase its lineups of TMR magnetic sensors, including the 1microampere ultra-low power TMR magnetic switches, and the newly developed ultra-low noise TMR linear magnetic field sensors.

MDT’s TMR magnetic sensors are designed for industrial applications, including flow meters, proximity switches, position and speed sensors, magnetic field sensors, and current sensors.

MDT is the first volume supplier of TMR magnetic sensors. With MDT’s strong IP portfolio and advanced manufacturing facility, MDT’s TMR magnetic sensors realize the key benefits of existing magnetic sensor technologies including the Hall Effect, AMR (Anisotropic Magnetoresistance) and GMR (Giant Magnetoresistance), while exhibiting a unique combination of performance benefits, including ultra-low power consumption, high sensitivity, large dynamic range, and excellent thermal stability, which is unprecedented in previous magnetic sensor products. MDT offers all advantages of TMR technology to the commercial sensor market in a growing product lineup.

“MDT’s TMR magnetic sensors are the first-of-a-kind on the market, and they are best suited for battery-powered high-end applications with stringent performance constraints.” said Dr. Song Xue, Chairman and CEO of MultiDimension Technology. “We are fully committed to delivering the best value to our customers with a wide spectrum of service options, including design service, TMR sensors in standard or custom packages, custom sensor modules, and application solutions.”

TMR technology is the most recent generation magnetic sensor technology. Prior to its applications in commercial magnetic sensors, TMR technology has demonstrated its success in the magnetic disk drive industry, and it has been proven a high-performance, cost-effective, and reliable technology over the past decade.
