ISEE Unveils New Industrial Processor Board, IGEP COM AQUILA

ISEE is an engineering company specialized in embedded systems located in Sant Cugat (Barcelona) and founded in 2006. With over 40,000 industrial equipments sold to the world and its continuing innovation ISEE launches the new COM IGEP AQUILA, an unique industrial processor board on the market.

THE NEW IGEP COM AQUILA

IGEP COM AQUILA is an industrial processor module designed to facilitate the integration of advanced electronic systems in industrial finished products. It is a platform for developing high--‐ performance, highly reliable, efficient and scalable that allows application developers to focus on the finish application reducing their time to market.

In addition to its ultra--‐compact is available in an extended range of operating temperature (--‐40 to 85 °C) and is adaptable to any design or custom processor board. You only have to add a standard SODIMM 200 to your design for the IGEP COM AQUILA to take control of your industrial equipment. The module dimensions are only 67.6 mm 26mm and features a Texas Instruments AM3354 processor (a powerful ARM Cortex A8 microprocessor). There is also a 3D graphics accelerator and the inputs / outputs are at 3.3 volts for more industrial use. It also includes a MicroSD slot to store data or boot from it. Incorporates DDR3 SDRAM and 128 Megabytes 256 Megabytes of FLASH. In addition, COM IGEP AQUILA has the official ISEE support, to simplify the implementation of specific hardware and software.

The IGEP AQUILA EXPANSION is a fully tested, highly reliable, scalable, efficient and high performing base board that allows customers to have access to all IGEP™ COM AQUILA board functionalities and focus on their end application through an economical base board.

It’s designed for industrial and commercial purposes and can also be used to develop and test your application over IGEP COM AQUILA processor board before building a prototype, saving cost and reducing time--‐to--‐market.

ISEE is an engineering company specialized in embedded systems designed for industrial environments that can withstand temperatures between --‐40 to +85 ºC. Agustí Fontquerni and Manel Caro in Terrassa founded it in 2006. Actually the headquarter in established in Sant Cugat. During his nearly eight years of life have managed to gain the confidence of different multinationals companies like Texas Instruments, specialized processors company and a world leader in the sector. ISEE developed embedded systems (Embedded PC) processors based on ARM technology as its core hardware and GNU --‐Linux operating systems optimized for the industrial sector, where reliability and security requirements are very specific.

The result is an extensive range of industrial equipment with high performance and low power consumption. The dimensions of the equipment, as small as a credit card and even smaller, allow the integration into most designs and systems. Its applications include fields such as home automation, telemetry (monitoring devices on remote networks), medical equipment or GPRS signal tracking, among many others.
