SMARTRAC is launching a new 1.4 x 10mm glass tag especially suitable for tagging small pets and other animals like birds, fish and mice. Thanks to its long and direct bonded ferrite antenna, the reading distance is significantly larger compared to other 1.4mm tags and comes very close to the performance of typical 2 x 12mm glass transponders.
The leading developer, manufacturer and supplier of RFID transponders, tags and inlays complements its glass tag portfolio with the addition of this new 1.4 x 10mm version, combining a very small form factor with outstanding performance. Due to its small size SMARTRAC's new product allows usage of thinner needles for bringing improvements in animal welfare during subcutaneous implantation.
The use of high quality materials including comprehensive tests and the entire production process in SMARTRAC's facilities, ensure optimum product performance and reliability.
The new 1.4 x 10mm glass tags feature EM4305 chips, 134.2 kHz frequency, biocompatible glass encapsulation with optional Parylene coating, comply with ISO 11784 and 11785 FDX-B standards, they are available immediately.
