Shared Spectrum Company (SSC), the leading developer of embedded RF spectrum sensing software products and Dynamic Spectrum Access technologies, announced today that it will be showcasing its SpectrumBug™ sensor and Spectrum Sensing Toolbox embedded software product at Super Wi-Fi & Shared Spectrum Summit, January 29-31, 2014, at the Miami Beach Convention Center in Miami Beach, Fla.
Super Wi-Fi & Shared Spectrum Summit will examine the current technological innovations enabling businesses to maximize broadband capabilities and drive new mobile revenue opportunities. Shared Spectrum Company will be at booth #243, showcasing products for enabling wireless broadband growth.
“We’re excited to see an ecosystem of market leaders and innovators emerging around spectrum sharing. With more than 13 years of experience in spectrum sharing and spectrum sensing, our company is well positioned to lead as the market grows,” said Thomas Stroup, CEO. “Our SpectrumBug sensor and embedded Spectrum Sensing Toolbox software products provide low cost, scalable means to add spectrum sensing to a host of wireless applications, from carrier networking to remote spectrum monitoring.”
SpectrumBug is a small form factor sensor that enables highly precise RF sensing and delivers real-time detection of wireless microphones, TV transmitters, LTE signals and other emitters. Spectrum intelligence generated by SpectrumBug creates smarter radio platforms that instinctively access more spectrum and optimize quality of service. The Spectrum Sensing Toolbox is an embedded software package designed for equipment manufacturers to embed spectrum sensing into their products. The Spectrum Sensing Toolbox enables wireless devices to access more spectrum and improve quality of service by accurately detecting TV transmitters, wireless microphones, LTE devices, and other emitters that may cause interference.
