The introduction of two special temperature sensors in a jacking system based on the adaptable SHE worm gear screw jacks from Pfaff-silberblau GmbH has trimmed down the plant’s inoperative time in the galvanizing lines of a steel plant in Kissing, a town in Southern Germany.

The gearbox oil’s warmth is monitored by a special sensor which cools it to an ideal temperature. Concurrently the temperature of the screw is also observed by a contact less sensor which deactivates the system if there is a likelihood of overheating.
Thus system operators can be assured of their systems operating and reduced intrusions. SHE 200 worm-gear screw jacks along with a special solution help in cooling the closed–circuit oil in the galvanizing plants.
Motek 2010, an exhibition in Stuttgart, Germany has a stall (hall 5, booth 5428) to offer facts about Pfaff-silberblau’s SHE worm-gear screw jacks and other products from its business range. This exhibition dates from the 13th to the 16th September of 2010 and is to be held at the New Exhibition Centre.
