TEK Instrument Unveils Model ST-880 Series of Infrared Thermometers Integrated with Laser Pointers

TEK Instrument, an online supplier of controls, instrumentation, and gauges, unveiled a new model of digital infrared thermometer, the Model ST-880. The thermometer is portable, compact, user-friendly, and comes with a battery and carrying case.

Model ST-880 Series of Infrared Thermometers

Integrated with a built-in laser pointer, the thermometer delivers a measuring range between –58 and 536°F. This low cost device provides reading accuracy of 2% and measuring resolution of 1°. In addition, the Model ST-880 features an 8:1optical resolution and 0.95 fixed emissivity.

The infrared thermometer has user selectable units, an over range indicator, a built in laser pointer, and auto data hold as well as auto shut features. To facilitate accurate readings in low-light or dark environments, there is a backlit LCD provided in the thermometer.
