SCHOTT MORITEX, a manufacturer of machine vision systems and image-related equipment, is now introducing the ML-M MP5 Series with four lens models for high-precision inspection.
The company’s newest lineup of high-end closed-circuit television (CCTV) lenses addresses the needs of applications using high pixel count image sensors, such as the inspection of printed circuit boards (PCBs), electronic components, and food and beverage products. The ML-M MP5 Series will be on display at SEMICON West in San Francisco on July 8-10, 2014 at booth #2510.
The key feature of the four ML-M MP5 lenses is their ability to realize a resolution of more than 150 LP/mm both at the center and the periphery of the field of view (FOV) for very close objects. In combination with a 5-megapixel camera, the new series achieves great image quality with higher resolution and contrast than conventional CCTV lenses.
Fields of application include component and PCB inspection in the electronics industry, food, glass or bottle inspection in factory automation, and mechanical parts inspection in the automotive industry.
SCHOTT MORITEX offers four different lenses in the ML-M MP5 Series with focal lengths ranging from 16 mm to 50 mm.
Technical Features:
- High resolving power for 5-megapixel or higher sensors
- Supports up to two-thirds of an inch sensor format
- Close distance (0.2 m) design suitable for machine vision
- Low distortion of 0.1 percent or less
- Includes focus and iris lock screws
