The G shock Riseman watch from Casio contains built-in sensors to measure altitude, temperature, and barometric pressure. The watch shows the value measured on the display panel. These features make the Riseman watch ideally useful for outdoor activities such as mountain climbing, and hiking.
The watch includes a solar cell that generates electricity, which is stored in a built-in battery. Thus the watch will continue to function, even when there is no sunlight. The Riseman watch revises its time setting after it receives time calibration signal. It has been designed to pick up time calibration signals that are transmitted from Japan, China, the United States, England and Germany.
The user can receive the time calibration signal in two different methods – manual receive and auto receive. Manual receive method allows the user to start receiving time calibration by pressing a button, whereas the auto receive method makes the watch to receive the signal automatically.
The Casio G shock Riseman watch also features an altimeter function that detects air pressure by using a pressure sensor. The altimeter also stores measurement readings in its memory. The temperature sensor of the watch measures temperature, while the pressure sensor measures air pressure. The display of the Riseman watch is lighted using an EL panel, ensuring easy readability in dark.
