C Spire and Blast Motion are offering a pioneering new motion detection and smart video capture technology for athletes at all levels to track vital sports metrics, harness their power and improve performance through motion sensor and user-friendly fitness apps on smartphones and tablets.
C Spire is the first company globally to offer these Blast Motion athletic solutions in its more than 65 retail outlets across the Southeast.
C Spire is initially offering three Blast Motion products – Blast Golf, Blast Baseball and Blast Athletic Performance – for competitive athletes at all levels (youth, high school, college and professional). This leading-edge technology fuses the Blast mobile app and motion sensor technology to detect, capture and sync motion with video. The Blast app automatically creates video highlights with integrated metrics from a variety of important athletic actions to create a unique and shareable digital experience.

The advanced design of the Blast Motion precision motion sensor allows it to achieve the accuracy and performance of professional systems costing up to 100 times as much – all with the goal of improving affordability and competitive performance for athletes of all ages.
- Blast Golf Putt– gives golfers a new and deeper understanding of their putting stroke. Weighing less than half an ounce, the size of a quarter and fully waterproof, Blast's precision motion sensor securely and discretely attaches to nearly any standard putter grip and it has the intelligence to understand the difference between real and practice strokes. Blast Golf uses Bluetooth ® Smart technology to transmit accurate and meaningful analytics to smartphones or tablets during practice or play. The sensor will even store strokes when out of range and download to the Blast Putt app when reconnected.
- Blast Baseball – educates players on the mechanics of their swing and helps them make meaningful adjustments, while offering news ways to share achievements. Weighing less than half an ounce and dustproof, shockproof and waterproof, Blast's precision motion sensor attaches to the end of any regulation bat. Bluetooth ® Smart technology transmits accurate swing analytics to a smartphones or tablet while you play.
- Blast Athletic Performance – enables athletes to see movement in a whole new way. Smart video capture automatically creates video highlights and combines them with integrated metrics, allowing athletes to capture, share and compare their athletic performance. Blast precision motion sensor attaches to the waistband and uses Bluetooth ® Smart technology to connect to smartphones or tablets. Blast's highly accurate precision motion sensor gives you the understanding of your body mechanics needed to become a better athlete.

Pricing and Availability
All three products – Blast Golf Putt, Blast Baseball and Blast Athletic Performance – are available in C Spire stores for $149.99 each. The products are compatible with smartphones and tablets that run Apple's iOS mobile operating system. The company plans to introduce versions that support Android in 2015.
