A low pressure sensor MS5701 with I2C or SPI digital interface has been launched by Servoflo Corporation of Lexington with variable gauges ranging from +2" H2O to +20" H2O and discrepancy models that determine water in the lowest range of ±2.5 inchesH2o and highest of ±10 inchesH2o in diverse modes.
This unique sensor works on MEMS technology, with 1.8 V to 3.6V supply, and power utility of 1 mA, resolution of 0.0004 inches of water (0.001 mbar), quick conversion of 0.54 ms and with up to 20 MHz I2C or SPI digital interface .It can easily be incorporated into any microcontroller due to its unique 24-bit temperature and pressure output.
MS5701 provides accurate measures with running temperatures ranging from -20°C to +85°C. Enhanced temperature and pressure signal stability and lesser hysteresis makes the sensor reliable in many applications that use ventilators, CPAP and sleep apnea respirators, leak detection, HVAC, liquid level metering and a lot more.
