ESCORT Inc. (ESCORTradar.com), designer and manufacturer of the world's best performing radar and laser detectors, is exhibiting the new PASSPORT® and PASSPORT Max2™ Bluetooth®-equipped radar detectors at the 2014 SEMA Show this week (North Hall, ESCORT show booth #11739).

In addition to the built in Bluetooth technology, the PASSPORT Max2™ (retail $599.95) detects signals at record setting range using ESCORT's patented digital signal processing technology (SEMA 2013 'Best New Product', the original PASSPORT Max™). The new detector also features dual language audible voice alerts (in English or Spanish), a multi-color graphics display and a USB port for internet connectivity.

The new PASSPORT™ (retail $349.95) achieves best-in-class, long-range performance by using band segmentation to increase sensitivity and also includes voice alerts in English or Spanish and a multi-color graphics display.

Both new Bluetooth®-equipped detectors easily accommodate connection to the ESCORT Live™ ticket protection app that won the prestigious Best New Product award at SEMA 2011. For SEMA 2014, the ESCORT Live™ app debuts Air Patrol Alerts to identify aircraft speed monitoring areas and Intelligent Speed Trap Alerts that prioritize alerts according to the most recent and total number of recorded sightings.

ESCORT is also introducing program enhancements to its PASSPORT 9500ci™ custom-installed radar and laser defense system. Using laser shifting, or blocking technology, the defense system actively protects against radar and laser speed enforcement guns. PASSPORT 9500ci™ program changes include extending product warranty to three years (expanded from one) and the introduction of a new 'ticket protection guarantee' program. Full warranty and program details will be announced at the show.

"We are excited to once again exhibit new technology at SEMA – innovations keep ESCORT in the detector category lead," said David Thornhill, ESCORT President and CEO. "The new PASSPORT® and PASSPORT Max2™ Bluetooth-equipped detectors are one more example of ESCORT delivering the best-in-class benefits and performance for our customers."

ESCORT invites media show attendees to take advantage of radar detector prizes, product news and more by attending the official ESCORT SEMA Show press conference (Wednesday, Nov 5, 10:30 AM, SEMA Media Center, Room N110). ESCORT will provide details about the new PASSPORT®, PASSPORT Max2™ and ESCORT Live™ enhancements. Press conference attendees will be eligible for prizes including a new PASSPORT Max2™ Bluetooth-equipped radar detector.

On Tuesday, November 4, ESCORT holds an official SEMA training session (1:30 PM, LVCC, South Hall, New Products Stage area). The training session, presented by installer of the year, Tom Miller, features the PASSPORT 9500ci™ program updates and custom installation process.
