OptiLabel HB Paper Introduced by NewPage

New Page Corporation has made its latest offering public, OptiLabel HB Label Facestock Paper, for International Pressure sensitive areas and also for North America.

This product weighs 54 lb, and upholds a top of the class façade, and time and again gives an excellent performance in all phases of production including die cutting, high speed label application and label printing and pressure sensitive laminating, mainly due to the efforts of New Page’s product development team members.

Executive director of sales and business development for specialty papers, David Diekelman, stated that, the company had vast experience in manufacturing papers for pressure sensitive markets, and a thorough knowledge of the requirements of the complete supply series. The NewPage Escanaba Michigan Mill, a complete pulp and paper production unit, consisting of three sections of machinery, produces this product on paper machine No 3, with a 262 inch machine trim. This equipment is perfect for handling the individual needs of the pressure sensitive applications. OptiLabel HB is a part of the select NewPage’s different label face stock papers, such as Oxford HB, Sterling Ultra C1S, OptiTherm, UniTherm, and OptiPrime Family papers, which when merged with release liner paper of NewPage, develop into a wide ranging pressure sensitive paper selection, in the region of North America;
