In addition to sensors for dynamic force, pressure, torque and acceleration measurement, Kistler is presenting two signal conditioning product innovations at this year's Sensor + Test fair in Nuremberg.
The new measurement solutions support simple integration into common hardware and software platforms and are especially tailored to the requirements of research and development laboratories.
Simple Integration into Commonly Used Hardware and Software Platforms
Piezoelectric measurement technology is sometimes wrongly assumed to be complex and time-consuming. Kistler's latest signal conditioning solutions support the simple integration of data into common software and hardware platforms and were conceived especially with research and development in mind.
The Kistler LabAmp 5165A - Digital Sensor Signals
The Kistler LabAmp 5165A signal conditioning solution delivers sensors signals in digital format, enabling problem-free further processing on the PC. The amplifier with flexible sensor inputs, integrated data acquisition and operation via a web browser by means of the widely used LabVIEWTM open software platform by National Instruments makes integration of data into common applications convenient.
Direct Integration in CompactRIO™ Applications
With the Kistler Type 5171A charge amplifier modules, piezoelectric sensors can now be integrated directly into individual National Instruments CompactRIO™ applications. The detour via external amplifiers is no longer necessary. This enables piezoelectric sensors for the measurement of force, pressures, torque and acceleration to be effortlessly integrated in individual solutions.
Kistler Sensors: New Developments and Prototypes
In addition to innovative signal conditioningsolutions, Kistler is presenting manysensors and measuring chains at the Sensor + Test trade fair. One new sensor technology product is the miniature pressure sensor in the 601C series. It is most suitable for operations requiring a high degree of sensitivity and reliable measurement of the smallest pressure pulsations in the range of several mBar or dynamic pressure curves up to 250 bar.
Kistler is also exhibiting a prototype from its new series of center hole triaxial ceramic shear accelerometer. The miniature version Type 8764B accelerometer enables a flexible choice of cable outlet up to 360° and can therefore be mounted in the smallest of spaces. Applications include operational stability and NVH testing in the automotive industry and vibration tests in the aerospace industry.
The Kistler Test & Measurement Team looks forward to your visit in Hall 11, Stand 119. Mr. Marco Stock will be on hand to answer any questions you have about Kistler measurement solutions. To make the most of your visit, we recommend that you arrange a meeting time in advance of the trade fair.
